On Wednesday our class had a pizza party!! We were celebrating winning the Box Top challenge for the 3rd quarter. Our class brought in an average of more than 34 box tops a piece.
The 4th quarter challenge is for a pass to the Gladbrook Theater. Keep clipping the box tops....and don't forget to have friends and family collect them for you.

Dr. Seuss fun with Math
Yesterday, the K-2 students attended an ICN session titled "Dr. Seuss fun with Math". The Foot Book was read to them. They drew their family and pets and then counted the feet. Next, students drew an imaginary character with many feet and counted those as well. They sorted and patterned pictures of shoes, and finished by tracing their own shoe.
