This week we starting practicing "Read to Someone". This daily is a lot like read to self except that you have a partner to read to. Partners take turns reading their books. This gives the students a chance to practice fluency. Students learned that they need to sit in EEKK (ask them what that means) and they face a wall so that the sound of their whispers is going away from the others that are doing other dailys.

Occasionally we have an odd number of students choosing Read to Someone. When that happens, one student has the opportunity to read to Freddie. He loves to listen to kindergartners read!
