Last week I introduced "Work on Writing", the second part on the Daily 5. We learned that it is a lot like "Read to Self". The differences are that students are writing the whole time instead of reading. Also, they need to begin by writing the date code (9-13-10), then do the writing, and finally they can illustrate what they wrote. We talked about how our words and our pictures need to match.
